The Pyrmont Curaçao Opening Delayed Until November 2026
Curaçao is quickly becoming a tourist favorite in the Caribbean, seeing a record 780,000+ overnight tourist arrivals for the year 2025. With more hotel chains showing interest in the island, yet another all-inclusive resort will be joining the country’s growing resort portfolio.
Curaçao’s first Marriott All-Inclusive property coming soon
First announced in 2023, The Pyrmont Curaçao, an all-inclusive Marriott Autograph Collection resort, will open its doors mid-November 2026. The opening was originally scheduled for the early second half of 2026, but with anything construction and hotel related, there will always be delays.

Located on the site of the former “Cerro Bonito” mansion running along Penstraat, the newly built adult-only beach resort promises 300 rooms (including 28 suites), all of which offer views of the ocean.

The Marriott all-inclusive resort will feature eight restaurants and five bars, one of which is will be set on the rooftop. There will also be an infinity pool with private cabanas and daybeds. Beyond that, they are also constructing a 250-meter oceanfront boardwalk and breakwater which will create an almost enclosed swimming cove.

And what’s a Curaçao beach front hotel without scuba diving? There will be an on-site dive and water sports center, offering certification and excursions, allowing guests to check out the coral reefs.

As the property falls under the Autograph Collection, guests can expect a more local vibe versus the typical cookie-cutter templates used as more traditional Marriott all-inclusive properties.
When is it opening?
According to Marriott’s website, the resort will open on November 16, 2026, with prices currently hovering around the high $600s.
Curaçao tourism on the rise
The Dutch Antilles island has seen a steady growth in tourism numbers, recording over 780,000 arrivals at the end of 2025. That beats their 2018 and 2019 numbers of just over 550,000 and 600,000 respectively.
All-inclusives are not a new concept to the island, but there have been a few new entrants over the past few years. For instance, Hyatt opened the Zoëtry Curaçao Resort and Spa in late 2021, while Sandals revitalized an ex-Hyatt property, opening the Sandals Royal Curaçao in mid-2022.
Besides The Pyrmont, the TUI BLUE Curaçao all-inclusive resort will also be joining the party, opening sometime in mid-October 2026. Unlike The Pyrmont, TUI Blue is located away from the city hustle-and-bustle, much further north along the beachfront in Soto.
