The Sint Maarten Tourism Bureau has announced that the country will finally re-open its borders to parts of the international community on July 1, 2020. Travelers from Canada and Europe will be allowed to enter the island tomorrow once they meet the below criteria.

Travelers from the United States still on hold

According to a June 29 update, travelers from the U.S. were also carded to be allowed re-entry on the 1st, but government officials have since backtracked on the decision given the spike in COVID-19 cases.

They will continue entry to all flights originating from the U.S. by a further two weeks in the first instance. Affected airlines were also informed about the change earlier today. If you were booked to fly in within the next two weeks, contact your airline as soon as possible to discuss date changes or arranging for a refund.
