Hawaiian Airlines Opens Second Premier Club At Kahului Airport

Hawaiian Airlines has opened its second Premier Club lounge at the Kahului Airport (OGG) in Maui.

Located at the southern end of the terminal near gate 15, eligible travelers flying on Hawaiian Airlines now have access to the second newly-opened Premium Club lounge. For those not familiar, Hawaiian’s Premier Club lounges offers basic amenities including comfortable seating, Wi-Fi and and a limited selection of snacks and drinks.

“We recognized the need for additional space for our guests traveling out of OGG and began the nine-month process to open a second Premier Club lounge,” said Johanna Franco, travel experience manager at Hawaiian Airlines. “We’re excited to continue to provide our guests with an elevated travel experience, whether it’s at our airports at the start of their journey or once the are comfortably onboard our aircraft.”

The new space which spans 1,175 square feet, is accessible by Premier Club, Pualani Gold and Platinum members, as well as first class passengers traveling on inter-island flights or flights headed to the U.S. mainland.

However I have to warn you that this is a no-frills lounge as they offer a very limited selection of snacks and drinks. It somewhat reminds me of a break room at an average 9-5 corporate job, but I guess it’s better than nothing.
