Alaska Airlines is adding three new non-stop routes to Mexico to its Winter 2021 calendar. As part of its campaign to add more sunny destinations to its schedule, the airline will be flying out of San Francisco (SFO) to Loreto (LTO), Baja California, as well as Mazatlán (MZT) and Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo (ZIH) in Guerrero.
The seasonal flights will run from December 18, 2021 to April 16, 2022, with once-weekly round-trip service to each destination. The routes will be operated with Airbus A320 aircraft.
- San Francisco to Loreto – Departs 12:00 p.m. and arrives 3:40 p.m. (Saturdays)
- Loreto to San Francisco – Departs 4:50 p.m. and arrives 6:45 p.m. (Saturdays)
- San Francisco to Mazatlán – Departs 11:50 a.m. and arrives 4:10 p.m. (Saturdays)
- Mazatlán to San Francisco – Departs 5:15 p.m. and arrives 8:01 p.m. (Saturdays)
- San Francisco to Zihuatanejo – Departs 8:00 a.m. and arrives 2:15 p.m. (Saturdays)
- Zihuatanejo to San Francisco – Departs 5:25 p.m. and arrives 8:11 p.m. (Saturdays)
The airline is also running a promotion, offering 30% off select one-way fares to any Mexican city operated by the airline.

Besides the recently announced routes, Alaska also has nonstop flights from San Francisco to Cancún, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta. They also operate flights from San Jose in the Bay Area, with service to Guadalajara, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta.
