Air France Offering One-Off Flights Between LAX And Nice For Cannes Film Festival And Monaco F1 GP

Air France is once again offering one-off flights between Los Angeles, New York, and Nice, France, in support of the Cannes Film Festival and Monaco Formula One Grand Prix.

The first pairing will take place in May 2025, connecting Los Angeles (LAX) and Nice (NCE). Flight AF041 will depart LAX on May 12th at 1:15 p.m., arriving in Nice at 9:40 a.m. the next day.

The returning flight leaves Nice on May 26th as AF040, departing at 1:55 p.m., and arriving in Los Angeles at 4:55 p.m. the same day. Both flights will be operated with an Airbus A350-900.

This pairing lines up best with the Cannes Film Festival which runs from May 13th to 24th, 2025. The Monaco Grand Prix also runs towards the end from May 23rd to 25th, giving F1 fans just about two weeks of sight seeing before the race weekend.

Both Cannes and Monaco are directly accessible from the airport via car or train ride, with an average travel time of 30 to 45 minutes.
