A Frontier Airlines passenger had to be restrained after becoming combative mid-flight from Denver to Houston.
Just 20 minutes into Frontier Airlines flight F9 4856, the passenger became violent, punching his seat and the window, cracking the inner plexiglass and damaging the window frame molding, bloodying the window shade in the process.
In a statement, police said the incident started when the man tried speaking to a woman in the row in front of him but was ignored.
In a video filmed by another passenger, at least four men were seeing restraining the man with zip ties, lacing, and the seat belt.
Once the man was restrained, the flight continued on to George Bush Intercontinental where officers from Houston Police Department escorted the man off the flight after landing.
Frontier Airlines decided not to press charges, and it was later reported that the man may have suffered a mental health crisis. As he was not charged, there was no other information to report beyond the wellness check at the airport.
